WRITERS’ GUIDELINES

conceive magazine is for any woman contemplating or actively trying to start or expand a family: by natural conception, fertility treatments and assisted reproductive technologies, or adoption. We are not a pregnancy or parenting magazine, but are focused on all aspects of fertility, conception, and adoption.

If you have a personal story to tell, please post it on the “Success Stories” section of this website. Because of the volume of submissions we receive, we cannot respond to every story. But if your story is chosen to be featured in the magazine, you will be contacted. Although we try to respond quickly, because of the volume of stories we receive it may take several months.

If you want to let us know about something newsworthy—a new program, medical study, book or product—you can email the Editor in the “Contact Us” section of the website.

All other queries should be posted by regular mail. conceive magazine is published quarterly. We receive many queries from writers but can only use a small percentage of what we receive. Most of our writers are longtime professionals specializing in women’s health coverage.

If you are a professional freelance writer interested in writing assignments for conceive, please send samples of your published work, a resume or description of your publishing career, and a few story ideas—no completed articles, please—to:
